The 22nd China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF) will take place in Tianjin from Oct. 17–19, 2025.
Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, this year’s CATF will adhere to its core mission of showcasing achievements, promoting trade, and fostering exchanges. Under the theme “empowering brands for rural revitalization, boosting consumption for vibrant growth”, the fair will focus on the development of sectors such as grain and oil, fruits and vegetables, livestock and poultry, and aquatic products, while highlighting progress in consolidating and improving poverty alleviation outcomes and smoothly pivoting to rural revitalization. It will also showcase China’s achievements in high-quality agricultural and rural development; promote new varieties, technologies, equipment, and business models; invigorate urban and rural consumption; improve the quality and efficiency of agriculture; and increase farmers’ income.
With an exhibition area of over 100,000 square meters, this year’s CATF will feature dedicated zones showcasing premium brands, China’s all-encompassing approach to food, agricultural technology, products from poverty alleviation regions, and agricultural heritages. A series of key activities will be held as part of the fair, such as a forum on strengthening agriculture, a “Brand Night” livestream campaign in support of farmers, and provincial-level cooperation and exchange sessions. Side events will include an e-commerce influencers’ sharing session on agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, as well as promotional activities for the Thousand Counties, Ten Thousand Products Initiative.
