In accordance of the Law of People’s Republic of China on Animal Disease Prevention, the Administrative Measures on Evaluation of Disease-free Zones, and the evaluation results by National Experts Panel on Animal Health Risks, the Ministry has officially recognized the Liaoning Foot-and-Mouth Disease-Free Zone. It consists of a core zone and a buffer, and has met with all the national standards concerning a foot-and-mouth disease-free zone with vaccination.
