The Technical Committee for Agri-product Cold Chain Logistics Standards of the MARA held its 2021 work meeting in Beijing on April 26, 2021.
The meeting called for accelerating the standards-setting for agri-product cold chain logistics, aligning relevant laws and regulations with existing standards in this regard and shoring up weaknesses in cold chain logistics.
At the meeting, new chairperson and vice-chairpersons of the technical committee were selected, and committee membership were co-opted or had changeovers. The Committee also reviewed and adopted the Charter for the Technical Committee, and made plans for its work in 2021.
Since its establishment in 2016, the Technical Committee has proposed a series of standards for the cold chain logistics by category of agricultural products, among which eight industrial standards are under formulation.
