Mr. Hu Yan’an, Deputy Director-General of MARA Foreign Economic Cooperation Center (FECC), met with Michael Ritter, Senior Vice President of CLAAS Asia, and Hu Zhaomin, General Manager of the Hulun Buir State Farm, in Beijing on April 13, 2021. They exchanged views on promoting practical cooperation in agriculture between China and Germany.
Mr. Hu briefed about FECC missions and the Sino-German Agricultural Center (DCZ). He stated that since the establishment of DCZ, CLAAS has actively participated in many events such as the Agricultural Business Dialogue and Sino-German Agricultural Week, and has been conducting business promotion, seeking business partnerships opportunities through the DCZ platform. These activities have helped increase both the company’s and DCZ’s influence.
Mr. Hu hoped that CLAAS and the Hulun Buir State Farm, based on fruitful cooperation, could tap potential for further cooperation by focusing on the practical demands of China’s agricultural mechanization and agricultural equipment industry to contribute to agricultural modernization in China. Mr. Hu invited both companies to the Sino-German Agricultural Modernization Solutions Dialogue to be held in June this year.
Mr. Hu also introduced the first World Digital Agriculture Expo to be held in November this year and invited both companies to participate in the Expo and have their products and services on display.
Michael Ritter and Hu Zhaomin briefed on the status quo and development direction of their respective companies, expressing readiness to further win-win cooperation by leveraging DCZ platform.
